Title: An Undivided Heart

(S) cripture:
    Ezekiel 11:19 (NASB) “And I will give them one heart, and put a new spirit within them. And I will take the heart of stone out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh,

(O) bservation:
    These are the exiles who will return and rid the land of all its idols and false worship. While in exile they felt abandoned, but God was still their shelter even if they didn’t realize it. When they return and worship only God, He will give them a new undivided (NIV) heart and put His Spirit in them. He will remove their hard hearts and replace them with hearts of flesh.

(A) pplication:
    An undivided heart, one that is not distracted or torn between two things but fully devoted to the Lord. A new Spirit, God’s Spirit to empower me. These come to the faithful who drive out the profane. I thank the lord for my new heart and the Holy Spirit who dwells within me. Today I want to be undivided in my commitment to the Lord and to make a difference for Him in the lives of others.

(P) rayer:
    Lord, today help me to recognize the profane and remove it from my life so that I might have an undivided heart and experience your love, presence and power in my life. Let me walk undistracted with you today. Amen
